Life in the castle is solitary
Her imagination is contrary
She patiently waits for an aper of love
Written on paper from her dove
A pigeon comes and another goes
Her love endlessly flows.
I haven’t written a poem for quite a while so I’m not quite proud of this one. But I guess it’s pretty sweet. I’ve always wanted a pen pal when I was young but in today’s modern world you can quickly reach out to someone.

I miss writing letters to send in the mail! I think letter writing is a lost art now. 😥 I have a friend who signed up for a pen pal program, and she has two pen pals in different countries. Pretty cool! 💜

That’s really cool! I’ve always wanted a pen pal from a different country but never got the opportunity. And I agree that letter writing is a lost art and isn’t given much attention these days.
